Dear Colleagues
The Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) is working with the Promoting Excellence Networks in organising a series of Award workshops in most capital cities in February and March 2015, to provide more information on the Australian Awards for University Teaching and other OLT programmes.
We warmly welcome and encourage all ICOs, potential nominees and staff from the learning and teaching units to attend these workshops, where they will find out more about the Awards programme, hear from the Awards recipients and assessors, and gain insight into how to write good nominations. This is also an excellent opportunity for the ICOs and institutions to network and share ideas on how to support the nominees and recipients better.
The Victorian/Tasmania workshop will be running from 10am to 1pm local time on the date and location listed below. Two teleconferences will be available for staff who cannot attend the workshops in person.
Victoria / Tasmania – Monday 23 February 2015 – Monash Conference Centre, 30 Collins Street, Melbourne
Teleconference (1 hour) – Thursday 19 March 2015 – Session one: 10 – 11am (AEDT) or Session two: 1 – 2pm (AEDT)
